Position Summary

Are you passionate about display technologies and eager to shape the future of innovative products? We’re looking for a Staff Project Engineer to join our Display team and drive complex OLED and next‑generation display programs across a diverse range of customers and applications in the EMEA region. In this role, you will provide expert technical leadership in coordinating, facilitating, and guiding cross‑functional program teams, ensuring smooth program execution. You will maintain strong customer relationships, demonstrating commitment to program schedules and fulfilling both customer and internal requirements – including quality, timing and other program‑related deliverables. Through close collaboration with various customer departments, such as Design, Pre‑Development, R&D and Car‑Line Management, you will promote OLED and emerging display technologies, while proactively identifying market trends, customer needs, and future roadmap opportunities.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and project leadership to a cross‑functional team from concept through launch.
  • Ensure all project deliverables and requirements are met; maintain full understanding of customer SOW and specifications.
  • Communicate project status clearly and proactively manage risks and issues.
  • Serve as the primary interface to customers for all project‑related topics.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timing charts to ensure alignment with customer milestones.
  • Establish and implement countermeasures when project deliverables are at risk.
  • Initiate, maintain, and distribute program open‑issues reports.
  • Identify and report emerging technology trends, customer needs, and new applications.
  • Support business development by identifying new opportunities and driving design‑ins through promotion, market sensing and customer surveys.
  • Organize and coordinate technology roadshows both internally and at customer sites.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, plus 7+ years of experience in project management with a strong background in product development engineering.
  • In‑depth and up‑to‑date technical knowledge in product development field, preferably in displays, semiconductors, or related systems and devices.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and across multiple regions.
  • Persuasive and professional presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of display technologies and related applications.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent command of English, with proficiency in an additional language such as German or Korean.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30 %).
  • Previous experience working with or for automotive OEMs / Tier‑1 suppliers is preferred.
