Client: Food Processing & Packaging Company

Location: Gersthofen (near Augsburg, Bavaria) + travel across Germany, Poland, Spain (potentially), UK (unlikely)

Start Date: September 15, 2025

Travel: Up to 50% during key phases (domestic & international)

Languages: Fluent English and German (written & spoken)

About the Project

Our client, a global leader in the food processing and packaging industry, has successfully completed the design of its global SAP S/4HANA template. The project is now moving into Greenfield implementation with US rollouts planned for 2025 and European rollouts starting in 2026.

We are seeking a Senior SAP PP/PI Consultant with strong expertise in Logistics modules to join the project team and drive successful implementation across multiple European sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert functional guidance in SAP Logistics, with strong focus on PP/PP-PI, and working knowledge of SD, MM, and WM.
• Advise on best practices, processes, and solutions to align with global standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional/technical solutions.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end process integration across modules.
• Support standardization of master data and transactional data elements across global operations.
• Document the global template (mandatory, recommended, localized elements) using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Prepare and lead business workshops, documenting requirements and guiding gap analysis prioritization.
• Configure SAP PP/PI and related Logistics modules, with clear configuration documentation.
• Define and support test case scenarios, defect resolution, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Document WRICEFs for non-standard functionalities.
• Develop training materials and conduct knowledge transfer to business users.
• Partner with Data Consultants on Master Data structures, advising on global standards.
• Provide hyper-care support after go-live.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• 5+ years SAP PP/PI consulting experience, ideally with exposure to SD, MM, and WM.
• Proven end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation experience (template build, rollout, hyper-care).
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Best Practices (structure & content).
• Prior experience in the food industry highly preferred, including:
• Handling multiple units of measure (UoM).
• Managing scaled weight-based sales.
• Focus on customer satisfaction & operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, document solutions, and guide stakeholders through decision-making.
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English and German.
• Flexibility to travel up to 50% across Europe during rollout phases.
