Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth operation of the meeting & events department, delivering high-quality client and guest experiences
• Proactively improve guest satisfaction and comfort, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues
• Develop and implement plans to meet meeting & events initiatives and hotel targets
• Lead and manage the meeting & events team, fostering growth and performance
• Manage departmental budget, controlling costs and inventory, and ensuring productivity
• Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
• Establish and execute programs to increase sales and profitability
• Ensure compliance with legislation and best practices, documenting activities for audits

Requirements:

• Proven experience in meetings & events with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service in hospitality
• Creative problem-solving abilities with advice and recommendations
• Integrity and dedication to excellence, time, and energy
• Experience with IT systems on various platforms
• Strong communication skills
