Overview

Operate as the Operations Manager / Head of Operations / Head of Quality for Amazon’s logistics centre. You will lead teams, ensure safety, quality, and drive process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• People Management & Leadership: Lead, develop, and coach Area Managers and hourly employees; create a positive environment, provide development plans, and conduct performance reviews.
• Strategic Responsibility: Develop and implement initiatives for inventory accuracy and quality assurance; analyze data and KPIs, collaborate across departments, and make resource allocation decisions.
• Operational Excellence: Monitor critical quality KPIs, perform root‑cause analysis, enforce work‑safety standards, and ensure compliance with Amazon policies.
• Innovation & Process Improvement: Identify optimization opportunities, lead network‑wide quality initiatives, support complex problem solving, and promote continuous improvement and lean culture.
• Day‑in‑the‑life: Work shift‑based at the site, lead security and quality culture, manage daily operations, coordinate process improvements, and mentor new managers.

Basic Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant people‑management experience and development.
• Experience in large assignments and cross‑team 감소.
• Track record of implementing data‑driven process improvements.
• Strong verbal and written communication in German and.Serialization of multiple applications across the world. Bilingual responsiveness.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills in German and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in distribution or manufacturing and quality assurance.
• Strong commitment to employee development.
• Ability to influence peers and stakeholders at various seniority levels.
• Knowledge of supply‑chain management, SOX compliance, and inventory control systems.
• Advanced proficiency in data‑analysis tools and software.
