This Berlin-based software company, operating in the tech marketing arena, is looking for Senior Java Developers and Mid-Level Developers as part of a 2017 recruitment drive. Due to continued success and expansion, the client aims to hire a total of 3 new developers.

Known as one of the most technically advanced companies in the industry, this opportunity will challenge and elevate any developer's skills.

The company has an international team working on a global product. It is a household brand in the making and already boasts multiple FTSE clients.

Responsibilities:

• Be part of an agile development team contributing to scalable, reliable applications, REST/SOAP APIs, and Microservices.
• Work with leading Java technologies including Java 8, Spring 4, Hibernate 5, Docker, Git, Maven, Jenkins, AWS, and MongoDB.
• Gain experience with Big Data systems such as Hadoop, Cassandra, Spark, Sala, Akka, and Kafka.
• Apply Clean Code and TDD principles.

Your Background:

• 5+ years of Java development experience for Senior level.
• 2-3 years of Java development experience for Mid level.
• Motivated developer with a passion for modern tech stacks and an open mind towards new technologies.
• Ideally experienced with Spring, Hibernate, and MongoDB.
• Big Data experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Good written and spoken English; German is not required.
