Overview

Based in Germany or Central Europe (flexible within the region), our international hospitality client seeks a commercial revenue expert to join their business as an Area Revenue Manager on a permanent basis. This role suits a strategic and analytical revenue management professional responsible for designing and implementing multi-hotel pricing strategies, leading a team, and optimising performance across a cluster of premium urban hotels. Operating across major European cities including Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Dresden, and Prague, the hotel group is well-established in the upper-upscale segment with a strong focus on data-led commercial decisions and continuous improvement. With ambitious expansion and innovation plans in the pipeline, this is a key role within their commercial leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute revenue strategies to maximise RevPAR and EBITDA across the hotel cluster
  • Manage and support a team of two Revenue Executives, ensuring strong performance and development
  • Oversee pricing decisions by segment and market, using Duetto and other RM systems
  • Analyse pick-up, performance, and competitor data to inform commercial decisions
  • Coordinate upselling, overbooking, and rate strategy across booking, pre-arrival and arrival
  • Ensure alignment of pricing strategies across distribution channels and affiliated hotels in the region
  • Manage the forecasting and budgeting process, with weekly reporting and reforecasting
  • Lead performance reviews and ensure strategic alignment with sales, marketing and operations
  • Implement revenue strategies that reduce reliance on OTAs and drive direct bookings
  • Supervise and validate group and event pricing processes
  • Lead or contribute to Business Review meetings and ad hoc scenario planning
  • Ensure accurate system use and data reporting across the RM function

Qualifications

  • Degree in business, hospitality, or a related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in hotel revenue management across multiple properties or markets
  • Knowledge of international pricing strategy, forecasting, Duetto and Opera
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships across sales, marketing, e-commerce and operations
  • Fluent English is essential; additional European languages (particularly German or Spanish) would be advantageous
