Description
As a CAC/PKI Local Registration Authority (LRA) Information Security Specialist, you will support the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) on the DoDIN-A Cybersecurity and Network Operations Mission Support (ADCNOMS) contract. You will be part of the CAC/PKI Registration Authority (LRA) team, responsible for token issuance, maintenance, and revocation for Army customers.
Requirements
Responsibilities include:
- Providing 24/7 On-Call and Emergency Response
- Responding to emergency calls and arriving at the site within two hours
- Maintaining an asset inventory of PKI operations equipment
- Supporting DoD Compliance Audits
- Addressing audit findings with the Army CIO/G6 Cyber Security Directorate and NETCOM G3/5
- Developing On-the-Job Training packages
- Testing PKI system software and token versions for compatibility
- Verifying subscriber identities and pre-registering users
- Validating certificate requirements and processing revocations
- Issuing and renewing tokens for SIPRNET and NIPRNET
- Producing and delivering issuance and activity reports
- Completing tasks per NSS/PKI RPS and DoD/PKI CPS
- Responding to General Officer/Senior Executive Service requests within 12 hours
- Resetting PINs, unlocking codes, revoking, and re-issuing tokens within specified timeframes
- Handling key recoveries and token requests within set deadlines
- Submitting activity, token, backlog, and failed token reports monthly
- Preparing reports for HQDA and NSA
Minimum Qualifications:
- Secret Security Clearance with Tier 5 background investigation
- 3+ years of experience in PKI or related fields
- Operational expertise in Smart Tokens, PKI, Certificate Revocation, CAC Pin Reset, biometrics, access control, and directory services
- Clean security record and no history of trust role removal for negligence or nonperformance
Preferred Qualifications:
- DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF 631) Security Developer Intermediate certification or equivalent, such as BS in IT/Cybersecurity or relevant certifications (CSC, GCLD, CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, GSEC)
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting and standing for extended periods
- Mobility within an office environment
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
- Travel less than 10%
