Balancing Zone Manager (m / f / d)

RESPONSIBILITIES

In BASF Renewable Energy GmbH (BREn) you will be tasked with managing the daily balancing group operations, which include conducting plausibility checks, scheduling and manual interventions for the German, Belgium, and Dutch balancing groups, if necessary. Weekend shifts will be part of your job.

• You will surveillance the data exchange processes with partners and the Energy Data Management according to MaBiS.
• You will be responsible for the reconciliation and validation across systems.
• In addition, you will coordinate with exchanges, trading partners, grid operators and banks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed commercial training and / or corresponding studies as well as professional experience in the energy industry
• Strong knowledge of balancing processes and energy markets in general (Germany is a must, each further country is a plus)
• Knowledge on market communication towards TSO (MaBiS)
• Confident handling of common MS Office products, especially Excel
• Structured, independent and efficient way of working as well as a high-quality standard for your work
