Senior Security Engineer (Corporate Security)

Location: Berlin. We are seeking a talented Sr. Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Berlin.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the secure design and operation of all corporate IT networks and devices
• Oversee the security of the company’s cloud environments and SaaS applications
• Administer and secure the organization’s identity and access management systems
• Monitor the organization’s networks and systems for signs of intrusion or anomalies
• Proactively assess the security of internal systems and infrastructure
• Implement and periodically review security practices across the organization

Requirements

• An experienced information security professional (~5+ years) with a broad background in enterprise network security, system administration, and security operations
• Ability to work independently and proactively contribute in a global team environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presenting skills; able to concisely communicate security risks to both technical and business audiences
• Written and spoken German language skills

Experience in some of the following areas

• Hands-on experience managing corporate security infrastructure (firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, etc.)
• Cloud services security
• Well-versed in network protocols, and identity and access management
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, DORA)
• Proactive problem-solver with knowledge of physical security controls
• Comfortable working cross-functionally (with IT, DevOps, and Operations teams)

Nice to have

• Web application development/architecture or related fields
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, GIAC Incident Handler, CCSP
