Senior Lead Process Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Role

• Lead and execute process engineering activities across all project phases, including concept development, tendering, detailed design, commissioning, and operations.
• Develop and validate technical documentation such as PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, hydraulic profiles, and risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID, SIL/LOPA).
• Specify and select process equipment and instrumentation, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and technical interfaces across international stakeholders, while contributing to digital tool development and design automation.
• Support permitting processes, client presentations, and continuous improvement of engineering methods, standards, and technical guidelines.

Your Profile

• Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in process design and engineering, ideally in sectors such as energy, LNG, or oil, with proven team leadership.
• Proficient in simulation and design tools (e.g., HYSYS, UniSim, PRO II, ProSim, Pipenet, Flarenet) and familiar with international codes and standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in complex, multidisciplinary project environments.
• Fluency in both German and English, combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
