Join TANGANY, based in Munich, a highly innovative technology company with a market‑leading B2B solution for the custody of digital assets (e.g., cryptocurrencies, tokenized assets, NFTs) on blockchain networks. Our solution is currently used by over 50 institutional clients, and no. 1 licensed financial institution regulated by BaFin under the European MiCA regulation. We are seeking a Team Lead Product Management to support our ongoing growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Product Team: Manage and coach a small team of Product Owners, fostering professional growth and ensuring high performance. Set clear goals and conduct regular feedback to develop best‑in‑class product management skills.
• Product Process Governance: Establish and enforce standard product management processes across all teams, ensuring consistent practices in backlog management, roadmap planning, agile ceremonies, and product discovery.
• Cross‑Team Initiative Ownership: Drive and coordinate strategic projects spanning multiple product areas, breaking down silos, and aligning cross‑cutting initiatives with overall product strategy.
• Regulatory Compliance & Release Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance requirements within the product organization, integrating BaFin regulations and DORA standards into product development. Oversee end‑to‑end release processes to guarantee secure, compliant deliveries.
• Bridge Strategy and Execution: Translate the Chief Product Officer’s vision into actionable plans, act as a liaison between high‑level strategy and day‑to‑day execution, and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and learnings.
• Stakeholder Coordination and Communication: Facilitate strong communication channels between Product and other departments, resolve dependencies, represent the team in stakeholder meetings, and promote a culture of transparency and customer‑centricity.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in Product Management, with at least 2+ years in a product leadership role, guiding initiatives from concept to launch and mentoring other product professionals.
• Domain Knowledge: Background in finance, fintech, or other regulated digital industries highly preferred. Familiarity with BaFin regulations, EU financial compliance (DORA, MiCAR) is a strong advantage. Blockchain, digital assets, or crypto custody experience is a plus.
• Methodological Skills: Deep knowledge of agile product development and product management frameworks, including OKRs, user story mapping, and design thinking.
• Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated leadership in coaching teams and driving change; excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to translate between technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to plan at a big‑picture level while coaching day‑to‑day details; strong analytical mindset, KPI monitoring, and experience defining product metrics.
• Technical Aptitude: Comfortable discussing technical concepts with engineering teams; understanding of software architecture, APIs, cloud services, and delivery lifecycle.
• Language & Work Setup: Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is required. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field. Hybrid work model based in Germany with bi‑weekly Munich office visits; remote work possible between visits.
