Join us on this journey to a sustainable future!**Key Responsibilities*** Development of heterogeneous polymerization catalysts and their optimization in modern polymerization processes* Management and organization of a team of 2 - 3 chemical laboratory technicians* Management of research projects* Analysis, documentation and evaluation of analytical data generated in the laboratory* Knowledge and evaluation of the latest patent applications and scientific literature in the field* Ensure compliance and enforcement of safety rules as well as company policies* Interdisciplinary collaboration with polymer and process experts as well as external cooperation partners in an international environment**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise*** Completed studies as a Chemist or Chemical Engineer* PhD and 2-3 years of professional experience preferred* Experience in heterogeneous catalysis, support materials or kinetics advantageous* Analytical and leadership skills* Methodical, solution-oriented approach to work* Initiative, independence and ability to work in a team* Knowledge in the use of Excel for data analysis* Experience with Advanced Data Evaluation tools desirable* Fluent in German and English, both written and spokenLummus Technology is the global leader in developing technology solutions that make modern life possible and focus on a more sustainable, low carbon future.
