for the sales of technically demanding products & solutions

Responsibilities

  • As a technical sales manager you will acquire new customers in our focus markets. In this way, you will contribute to meeting our ambitious targets for sales growth and above-average revenue development.
  • Our focus markets are laser material processing in the areas of electro-mobility, additive manufacturing, the production of solar wafers and various applications in the electronics industry. A resilient network of relationships in these markets is desirable.
  • You advise customers competently and support them in technical questions in selecting the most suitable solution for their application. A strong goal and result-orientation with methodical approach is a must. We offer personal development in line with our sales methods according to our Sales Playbook.
  • In your daily work, you will professionally conduct contract negotiations, use price processing tactics and commercial reasoning, advise, and present our solutions virtually and in person. You will also prepare calculations, customer analyses, quotations and conduct customer meetings using the methods defined in our Sales Playbook.
  • We expect you to proactively gather information on markets, applications, and potential customers to develop business opportunities.
  • You continuously monitor business success, conduct sales talks and coordinate sales projects.
  • You will represent RAYLASE at trade fairs, conferences and on social media platforms and support us in advertising campaigns with other marketing activities.
  • In coordination with the management, you plan sales and earnings targets and are responsible for achieving them.
  • You will work within our sales process with tools and methods developed by us and will successfully identify and win customers to sustain and improve our business.
  • You will serve customers in the European region with a focus on our key market segments. The support of US customers is possible.

Your Profile

  • You have knowledge and contacts in laser material processing in at least one of our focus markets.
  • We are looking for a colleague with at least 2-3 years of experience in sales of highly complex, technical products and solutions.
  • We expect above-average results from your education.
  • You are business fluent at all levels and work independently with a lot of initiative.
  • You are goal- and solution-oriented. You enjoy dealing with people in a self-confident manner and the ability to build resilient customer relationships round off your profile.
  • You have a convincing behaviour, are a team player, have good communication skills and time management is a matter of routine for you.
  • You are willing to travel.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken business English; other foreign languages are desirable.
  • You are familiar with LinkedIn and other social media platforms and CRM tools.
