Team Lead – Software Testing (d / m / w) - Stuttgart Area, Germany - Up to €95,000

Based in the Engineering hub of SW Germany, an international and market-leader are offering an exciting and unparalleled Software Testing Team Lead position.

Specializing in electronic measurement equipment, this unique company develops and manufactures world-renowned and high-tech products for a variety of different industries. During this exciting time, they urgently require an experienced Software Test Engineer with prior experience leading a team, to join their department and utilize their specialist skills to fuel the progression of the company and increase the functionality of their flagship product.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess the scope of project components, track their development, and oversee their progress on a continual basis
• Carry out selective code evaluations to ensure quality standards are upheld
• Assist in establishing and maintaining standardized reporting mechanisms, as well as designing and executing test cases and scenarios
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to sustain, refine, and enhance a cohesive test automation framework
• Present and roll out testing strategies and associated plans across ongoing projects
• Design test methodologies based on overarching testing strategies
• Play a central role in devising, updating, and advancing testing strategies in partnership with the software architect

Desired Skills and Experience

• Completed a degree in Electrical Engineer, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or similar
• 7+ years of professional experience in a Software Test environment:

- 5+ years experience in Software Testing as a Test Engineer

- 2+ years experience as a Test Manager

• Experience in Test Automation, and ideally some manual testing
• Experience and knowledge of Python, ROS, and Jira
• Ideally, experience in measurement technology
• Fluent German is mandatory
