Senior Product Manager (Fintech) (f/m/d) role at PAIR Finance. Join a product company developing a multi-national debt collection platform using Ruby on Rails, VueJS, running on AWS. To further develop our innovative product, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team. You will manage our Finance and Payments product, work with a dedicated tech squad on finance-related tasks, collaborate with stakeholders, and integrate and maintain international payment solutions. Become part of our international team transforming the traditional debt collection industry with innovation and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Work within a cross-functional team of 3-6 developers, a lead developer, and a dedicated QA engineer.
- Develop product ideas, new features, and improvements with internal stakeholders from Finance, Market, Collection, Courts and other departments.
- Coordinate resources and create/manage project timelines to ensure requirements are understood, development is on track, and high-quality delivery.
- Oversee feature specification, implementation, testing, and release processes.
- Establish third-party integrations of international payment solutions and related services.
- Design and implement technologies and processes for product accounting & core finance processes.
- Automate revenue, costs, and ledger processes.
- Establish, monitor, and analyze metrics related to core and finance services; use data-driven insights to identify improvement areas, drive optimizations, and report on the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
- Write documentation and collaborate with peer product managers, tech, and QA teams to share knowledge and facilitate cross-learning.
Qualifications
- Significant working experience in Product Management, preferably in a fast-paced tech environment in Fintech, Insurtech, Legaltech, AdTech, or software development.
- Ability to understand and clarify business requirements, convert them into clear specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Expectations management of business owners.
- Solid understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies such as Scrum, FDD, Kanban, and requirement gathering techniques (use cases, user stories, features, and scenarios).
- Strong understanding of tech:
- Knowledge or experience with databases, SQL, ER-models.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of any programming language, ability to read code and communicate with developers in technical language.
- Experience with APIs, JSON, XML data formats.
- Experience in working with and/or configuring complex middleware.
- Experience with Linux servers and/or console.
- Experience in UI / UX.
- Experience building technology-driven processes for cash management and transaction processing which include consumer payments, invoicing, payouts, and reconciliation is a plus.
- Knowledge about SEPA structures, Payment Service providers is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
