We are looking for a hands‑on and process‑driven Director of Operations (m/f/d) in a full‑time position. The primary objective is to ensure the seamless, scalable, and compliant delivery of Hanseatic Connect’s international recruitment and personnel services. The Director is part of the leadership team, translating vision into efficient, data‑driven operations that support sustainable growth.

Your Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Managing Director in defining and executing strategic business goals, ensuring financial and operational alignment.
  • Ensuring smooth and scalable operations, with a focus on process optimisation in all locations and compliance.
  • Providing clear analysis and recommendations for management decisions.
  • Monitoring risk areas (financial, legal, operational) and implementing mitigation measures.
  • Establishing and leading the operations for the labour lease department, including legal, operational and commercial set‑up.
  • Coaching, motivating, and developing teams to strengthen business acumen and system know‑how.
  • Promoting a culture of accountability, transparency and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management or a related discipline.
  • Further professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, ACA) preferred.

Work Experience

  • Several years of leadership experience, ideally in service industries (healthcare recruitment, staffing, time lease or similar).
  • Proven experience in building new business areas or structures.
  • Exposure to international operations and regulatory environments.

Skills

  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on strategic growth and operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Deep financial and analytical expertise.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Leadership and people management.
  • Fluency in English and German.
