Advanced Machining Engineer plays a critical leadership role in driving manufacturing innovation and operational excellence at the plant level. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of new production technologies and processes, including the evaluation, selection, procurement, installation, commissioning, and optimization of equipment and production lines. A key focus of this role is to ensure the successful integration of new technologies that align with the company’s strategic goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Will also lead cross-functional teams in process development and improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with Lead Plants standards and best practices worldwide. In addition to plant-level responsibilities, represents the facility in global and regional forums, contributing to the development, standardization, and deployment of innovative manufacturing solutions across the organization. This role requires strong collaboration with engineering, operations, maintenance, program managers and corporate technical teams to ensure scalable and cost‑effective process improvements.

Main Specific Responsibilities

  • Design, development and implementation of machines and processes, as well as related documentation.
  • Develop special projects for the optimization and improvement of manufacturing processes, related to issues of capacity or compliance with quality, cost or productivity metrics of the production area.
  • Advanced CNC Programming & Parametric Programming.
  • SIEMENS, Rexroth Indra Works MTX 14V22 P2, FANUC PLC programming knowledge.
  • CNC Programming (G‑code, M‑code).
  • Multi‑Axis Machining (3, 4, 5‑axis systems), single, twin, 4‑spindle machines.
  • Servo and Motion.
  • Machine set‑up & operation.
  • Machines maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Machines installation and set‑up, and machine disposal.
  • Machines rebuilds.
  • Participate in equipment and process improvement and modification discussions as an expert in technical functions.
  • Review of Process Data Sheets (PDS) generated by CoC and responsible to close all GA Open Topics on time.
  • As a CNC machines expert, review machine designs, tools and define process parameters when these are not determined by Lead Plants.
  • Prepare explanatory presentations and report information on related tasks when required.
  • Provide technical leadership in advanced technology development and perform complex design analysis to support manufacturing goals.
  • Collaborate with Bosch global partners and the supplier base to ensure alignment on technology and process improvements.
  • Critical spare parts definition.

Job Profile

  • Minimum Level of Studies: Engineering.
  • Specialty: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial or related.
  • Years of Experience: 7.
  • Language: Advanced Level English.
