Finance Business Partner for I/T

As a Finance Business Partner, you play a key role in the financial management of our I/T units and are a partner for IT management in financial matters. Contribute your financial expertise with us and contribute to the development of controlling. You help us draw the right conclusions from figures!
How You Make a Difference
- You take responsibility for the financial management and controlling of your I/T sub-units and advise leaders on strategic and operational financial matters.
- You ensure a reliable financial planning and forecasting process and are responsible for comprehensive accounting.
- You are in charge of the creation, support and development of reports and data models for data-driven decision-making.
- You derive recommendations for action to ensure the attainment of financial targets, discuss them with your stakeholders and record their success.
- You bear primary responsibility for your sub-units in relation to the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with CO and IFRS, and play an active role in their preparation.
- You actively promote the further development of financial processes, instruments and projects and contribute your experience to cross‑unit initiatives.
You have the option of working remotely (e.g. from home), but will be required to spend two to three days (depending on level of employment) at the headquarters in Bern (Wankdorf).
What You Have to Offer
- You have experience in controlling, auditing or financial consulting and hold a university degree in business administration (UAS/university) with a focus on finance/controlling.
- You enjoy analysing and tackling complex, strategic issues, where you demonstrate conceptual strengths and a solution‑oriented approach.
- You feel comfortable in an advisory role and can prepare and present complex finance topics in a way that is appropriate to the target audience.
- You have a strong interest in developments in the IT and technology environment and ideally have experience in Group structures.
- In‑depth knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with SAP (e.g. FI/CO, S4HANA) and Power BI (or SAP Analytics Cloud) are required.
- You also have very good spoken and written English and German or French skills.
