Join to apply for the Lead Project Engineer role at STAM S.r.l. STAM is currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic Lead Project Engineer to join our Defence team in Genoa and La Spezia.

Main Activities

By joining the STAM Defence team, you will have the opportunity to work in the Defence field, supporting key LSA/ILS programmes with the major players in the industrial landscape.

The Logistics Support Analysis Engineer will support the Programme Manager in the technical and management activities of the programme life cycle, such as analysis of contractual requirements definition, planning and verification of the progress of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and In Service Support (ISS) activities, and provide RAMT (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Testability) studies.

The ideal candidate will have a good technical background and excellent problem-solving skills to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.

According to your skills and suitability, you will:

  • Contribute to the setting up of the programme by supporting the Programme Manager in analysing and verifying the contractual and quotation documents;
  • Ensure and monitor compliance with the technical requirements of the programme, ensuring technical supervision during the entire life cycle of the order;
  • Manage and contribute to the implementation of all ILS deliverables such as user manuals, spare parts, training courses, on-board services, information systems, interfacing with the actors and organisational units involved in the process;
  • Contribute to the preparation and updating of RAMTS (RAMT) studies.

The role also requires external interface with customers and suppliers of the equipment and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master/PhD in a technical field (physics, mathematics, electronics, aerospace, computer science, computer engineering, etc.)
  • At least 1 year of experience as LSA Engineer or similar role
  • Good knowledge of reliability, maintainability, availability and testability concepts (RAM-T)
  • Good knowledge of the logistics support process (LSA)
  • Good knowledge of system supportability concepts
  • Good knowledge of RAMT studies, methodology and tools
  • Good knowledge of life cycle cost concepts
  • Background in the Defence sector is considered a plus
  • Good teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving and attention to detail
  • A positive and ambitious mindset with a can-do attitude
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad
