A global fashion brand is seeking a dynamic and strategic Area Manager to lead international wholesale distribution across apparel, footwear, and accessories. This role is pivotal in driving commercial growth, optimizing market presence, and nurturing key partnerships across diverse channels and territories.

About the Role

As Area Manager, you will oversee and expand the brand’s international wholesale footprint, managing relationships with e‑tellers, department stores, and multibrand retailers. You’ll be responsible for seasonal planning, performance tracking, and strategic development across assigned markets. This role requires a blend of commercial acumen, market insight, and relationship‑building skills, with a strong emphasis on agility, collaboration, and execution.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure brand consistency, maximize sales performance, and identify new growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion, thrives in fast‑paced environments, and brings a proactive, results‑driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow wholesale distribution across assigned international markets
  • Lead seasonal budget forecasting and campaign preparation
  • Achieve sales targets and optimize product assortments for maximum performance
  • Monitor weekly sales performance and coordinate monthly business reviews with key accounts
  • Ensure brand consistency and strategic product placement across channels
  • Identify and onboard new partners and agents to expand market reach
  • Travel frequently to maintain market intelligence, strengthen relationships, and scout new opportunities

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in international wholesale (retail experience is a plus)
  • Deep understanding of global distribution channels and strong industry relationships
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; strong retail math skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Flexible, resilient, and comfortable working under pressure
  • Passionate about fashion and global market dynamics
  • Willingness and availability to travel extensively
