Company Description
Our partner is a leader in the production of electrical power units for railways and stations, LED signaling systems, automatic train protection systems, and ERTMS subsystems both onboard and ground-based.

Position
Activities include:

  1. Analyzing technical and functional requirements for software development;
  2. Designing and developing software using high-level programming languages (C, C++, Java);
  3. Managing development processes according to SIL 4 safety standards;
  4. Developing and implementing control and management algorithms;
  5. Creating technical documentation, including specifications, flowcharts, and system diagrams;
  6. Testing software to ensure safety and quality standards are met;
  7. Maintaining and optimizing existing code through reviews and updates;
  8. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for software integration;
  9. Defining and implementing new technologies to improve system performance and safety.

Requirements
Educational background in engineering or computer science;
Minimum 2 years of experience;
Proficiency in C, C++, Java;
Experience in software development and verification;
Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software architecture;
Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN);
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills;
Familiarity with embedded and real-time operating systems;
Analytical and problem-solving skills;
Teamwork and communication skills;
Attention to detail;
Ability to work in a regulated environment with high safety standards;
English language skills are a plus.

Additional Information
This position offers a permanent contract under the Metalmeccanico collective bargaining agreement;
Salary is experience-based (range € - €);
Bonus €;
Work schedule: 12 days/month;
