Context and purpose of the job
As a Beauty Licensing Specialist, you will support the development and coordination of licensing projects within the Beauty category, working closely with internal departments and external partners. You will be involved in a variety of activities, gaining a comprehensive understanding of how licensing contributes to brand growth and consistency. Your key part will be ensuring smooth communication between teams, accurate project tracking, and the timely delivery of initiatives.
Responsibilities
Business
- Supervise the Beauty category across Armani boutiques and outlets.
- Define the product assortment and coordinate with beauty buyers.
- Oversee the installation of beauty corners, including lightboxes and video materials.
- Manage product allocations and support the execution of special projects.
- Handle buyers’ requests and coordinate training sessions (materials sharing, trainer contacts, scheduling).
- Create and update product master data and manage price list requests and distributions.
- Support the e‑commerce team (product imagery, order checks, CRM and Customer Service requests).
- Analyze business performance worldwide (retail and wholesale) based on data shared by the licensee.
Licensee Support
- Coordinate and oversee communication‑related activities, including:
- Sharing talent lists for internal approval with subsidiaries.
- Supervising and distributing event format guidelines.
- Collaborate on trade marketing and beauty/fashion events.
- Liaise with the Design department for the creation of Gift with Purchase collections and uniforms for beauty advisors.
- Partner with the Merchandising team to define incentive programs for beauty advisors.
- Support the selection of looks for beauty photo shoots.
Back Office
- Collaborate with the administration team for invoicing related to licensee activities.
- Manage internal product orders and product archives.
- Keep reports and databases updated and well organized.
Requirements
- One year of experience in a similar role.
- Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Fluent knowledge of Italian and English (both written and spoken).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and problem‑solving attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
