Background

Alfa Laval San Bonifacio BHE Factory is a new modern factory that in the next four years will replace its IT core production systems with OneERP solution. You will support this transition from the existing system/process to the new solution.

You will be a key member of our team located in San Bonifacio. You will report to the Country IT Manager for governance aspects and strategic decisions, with a strong and direct connection with San Bonifacio management for all operative/process aspects of your role.

About the job

As an application specialist you will be supporting and implementing all aspects of operations that use existing systems as well as our future WMS and ERP. Part of your job is to perform data management tasks and conduct quality data checks.

You will have a customer-oriented mindset and play a major part in supporting your colleagues to have a high competence in systems and tools.

This role will be based in San Bonifacio.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead local IS projects with the support of our corporate
• System Administrator for local ERP systems and data exchange interfaces
• Secure optimal functionality and business continuity of all local San Bonifacio IT systems, conduct problem analysis and continuously improve systems together with our central team in accordance with Alfa Laval standards and governance
• IT/IS Business Process Management (BPM) mapping, optimization and definition of procedures from a system perspective, assist in introducing these procedures (change management)
• Be a digital transition driver for local organizations
• Continuous improvement in the IT/IS service delivery

What you know

• Knowledge of and/or affinity with factory processes and applications (Production Order, BOM, WMS, TMS)
• SQL Server and T-SQL development skills
• Experience in autonomous administration and setup of IT applications
• D365/Jeeves ERP Systems knowledge is preferred

Who you are

You have an analytical mindset combined with a pragmatic and proactive approach. Your communication skills in both Italian and English (verbal and written) are excellent. But most importantly is that you love working with people and love IT.
