Overview
Production Logistics Assistant at NBCUniversal. The position provides high-quality service and support for NBC of the Milan 2026 Olympic Winter Games. This position reports to the Manager, Production Logistics.
Responsibilities
- Handle material, including picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management of all non-technical equipment at the Warehouse, International Broadcast Center (IBC), venues, and other NBC locations.
- Physically handle and move equipment, supplies, goods, pallets, and boxes.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and delivering equipment and supplies to and from the Warehouse, IBC, venues, and other NBC locations.
- Perform various administrative duties, including taking phone and online orders, tracking budgets, organizing documents, and providing customer service to client groups.
- Source and prepare non-technical goods and services, including Environmental Health & Safety, medical equipment, office supplies, furniture, etc.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including breaking down boxes, picking up, and disposing of trash and waste.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Production Assistant, service industry employee, or equivalent is preferred.
- Fluency in written and spoken Italian and English is preferred.
- Proficiency in English and experience with Microsoft Office programs and basic database software is preferred.
- This is a physically demanding position; candidates must be able to lift at least 12 kilos.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand various tasks and processes.
- Must be willing to work long days, weekends, and nights, and be dedicated to the project for its full duration.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to drive a work-provided vehicle is preferred.
