Why This Role Is Right for You

As a Solution Architect, you’ll join a collaborative and forward‑thinking team based in Milan. Together, we’ll work on defining and detailing business requirements of new initiatives, design architectural solutions, and collect effort estimation from the IT factory and review it. Costs and time will be shared with PMA for managing project approval.

About Your Future Role

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine the Business Requirements
• Manage the mandate (understanding, directing, and planning the project)
• Define high‑level architectural design solutions with a top‑down approach
• Produce high‑level end‑to‑end impact analysis, first cost and plan estimates
• Manage architectural solutions and end‑to‑end analysis, sharing with IT factories and collecting effort estimation and plan
• Support during implementation

Essential Qualifications

• Design of architectural solutions with a top‑down approach
• Knowledge of architectural standards and best practices (TOGAF, etc.)
• Knowledge of standard integration patterns for online and batch processes
• Knowledge of open and digital architecture (cloud standards, microservices, etc.), basic mainframe knowledge appreciated
• Knowledge of database modeling
• Knowledge of security best practices (data protection, token authentication, session management, API protection) and main regulations (PCI‑DSS, Privacy, etc.)
• Proven IT experience
• Fluent English

Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of payments – preferred on acquiring processing and systems (onboarding, authorization systems, back‑end systems, digital channels)
• Autonomy to define high‑level costs and discuss them
• Autonomy to evaluate and discuss impacts and cost coherency with IT factories
• Autonomy to share and elaborate with BU managers high‑level solutions and costs
• Analysis and synthesis to drive strategic choices and tactical solutions
• Knowledge about digital payments (ecommerce, emerging trends like BNPL, APM, etc.)
