Application Specialist - Electronic Lab Notebook

Overview

Application Specialist - Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) based in Vimodrone (MI), EU Level. The candidate will be involved in the implementation of the ELN, a digital solution designed to replace traditional paper-based worksheets and laboratory notebooks, and will support the deployment of ELN across Eurofins Laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Implement the ELN application to replace traditional paper-based worksheets and laboratory notebooks.
• Directly interact with analysts and lab technicians to implement and deploy ELN across Eurofins Laboratories.
• Provide ongoing application support, user training, and troubleshooting to ensure effective usage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, QA, and customers) to ensure alignment with validation, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in chemical analytical laboratories.
• Knowledge of laboratory instruments and software (e.g., HPLC, GC, Empower, Chromeleon).
• Knowledge and usage of analytical methods (e.g., Pharmacopoeia methods).
• Interest in IT and digital applications; good communication and writing skills.
• Residence near Vimodrone (MI) and willingness to travel (approximately 30% annually).
• Excellent command of English.
