Overview

Materials and Processes Quality Assurance – W/M at Thales Alenia Space. A Joint Venture between Thales (67%) and Leonardo (33%). Thales Alenia Space is a global space manufacturer delivering high-tech solutions for telecommunications, navigation, Earth Observation, environmental management, exploration, science and orbital infrastructures.

Candidate shall guarantee to customers the right quality level for materials and processes used to manufacture internal or procured hardware and units on space programs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Surface Mounted Technologies (SMT) Materials and Processes Control Board (MPCB) for internal or externally procured electronic units
  • Periodical update of Program Materials and Processes Control Plan
  • Review and validation of SMT or PCB qualification plan and report for internal or externally procured units
  • Review and validation of Declared Materials and Processes Lists for procured or TAS internal units
  • Support to internal customers (manufacturing PA, unit PA or program PA) on materials and processes Non-Conformance or anomalies management
  • Contribution to NRB
  • Contribution to Inquiry Boards and Alert Steering Committees

Skills / Experiences

  • Technologies knowledge: 3E part mounting & PCB
  • Quality Assurance or Industrial Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of ECSS normative standards and especially ECSS-Q-ST-70-XX standards for technologies, materials and processes, including ECSS-Q-ST-70-60 & ECSS-Q-ST-70-61
  • Knowledge of IPC standards

Engineer or PhD in Materials, Technologies, Physics ...
