M&A Project Manager – Milan

JDRoss have partnered with a client who operate in 20 countries globally and over 1250 solar plants and worked on over 3500 energy contracts to support decarbonisation.

Reporting to the M&A Director you will be responsible for the collection, consolidation, and analysis of financial data and information related to M&A transactions (both greenfield and brownfield).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / DELIVERABLES

• Lead M&A transactions through: Preliminary studies, market analysis, due diligence & financial modelling of project cash flows
• M&A project management in coordination with various units in Italy and across Europe
• Preparation of materials for investment committees related to M&A activities
• Participate in the selection of advisors/partners involved in M&A transactions.
• Ability to support market analysis on specific areas related to the Energy business in a broad and comprehensive manner.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Higher education in Economics or Finance (Business School or University degree).
• At least 5 years of successful professional experience in Transaction Services, M&A, within a Private Equity fund, or in the finance department of a large international group in the Energy Utilities sector (e.g., M&A department).
• Experience (internship or first job) in corporate finance will be considered a plus.
• Solid financial modelling capabilities.
• Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint.
