HVAC Senior Engineer

The candidate will be involved in the design of mechanical systems in the industrial, chemical, and petrochemical sectors.

Responsibilities

• Calculating heating and cooling loads;
• Designing heating/cooling plants and air handling units;
• Developing functional diagrams and system layouts;
• Sizing air and water distribution networks;
• Drafting technical specifications for project equipment;
• Preparing general and specialized technical reports;
• Interfacing with suppliers and clients;
• Collaborating with other disciplines involved in the project.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Building / Energy Engineering;
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical systems design in civil and industrial sectors;
• Knowledge of specific HVAC tools (e.g., HAP Carrier) and AutoCAD 2D/3D;
• Willingness to travel for short assignments, if necessary;
• Good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level).

Required Skills

Knowledge of Revit software and international standards such as ASHRAE and NFPA will be considered a plus.
