Business Analyst IT (SQL & SAP) – Italy

Join our team as a Business Analyst IT - Expert in SQL & SAP as part of an international transformation program. You will collaborate with cross‑functional and global teams to design and deliver scalable Finance IT solutions, hybrid in Milan once a month.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze business and financial needs to define functional and technical requirements.
• Drive and support the SAP Central Finance or SAP FICO solution design, ensuring alignment with company strategy and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and IT Product Managers to ensure proposed designs are implemented effectively.
• Lead and support Business Analysts throughout the project lifecycle, guaranteeing the quality of deliverables.
• Manage relationships with vendors and internal IT teams to ensure consistency and delivery excellence.
• Support the Project Manager in prioritization, cost management, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure integration between SAP Central Finance or SAP FICO and internal ERP systems (e.g., SAP or legacy environments) operates smoothly, supporting reporting, forecasting, and accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Academic background: Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance IT projects, ideally within SAP environments.
• Expertise in SAP Central Finance (FICO) – mandatory.
• Experience in system integration and data flow between multiple ERP environments – mandatory.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in multicultural contexts.
• Certifications in PMP, Prince2, Agile or Scrum are a strong plus.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
