Overview

Web & Technical Marketing Specialist — Preferably with a Computer Engineering degree—but not mandatory if you have equivalent experience and a solid portfolio. You’ll manage our website, fix issues, write technical datasheets and marketing content, support new product design, run demos for international clients, coordinate freelancers, and handle social media.

What you’ll do

  • Website ownership: day-to-day management, troubleshooting, performance and security hardening, releases/deploys.
  • Hands-on development: practical work in PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS; basics of Linux/Apache/Nginx, cPanel/WHM, and CDN/caching.
  • Technical product sheets (datasheets): gather specs with R&D/PM, write clear, accurate product documentation (features, compatibilities, use cases).
  • Marketing content: articles, landing pages, newsletters; SEO on-page (titles, meta, schema/FAQ), and blog updates.
  • New product support: contribute to positioning, naming, requirements, and go-to-market with Product/Engineering.
  • Customer demos (international): live product demos (Zoom/Teams), in English.
  • Technical support (pre & post-sales): first/second-level guidance, how-to docs, troubleshooting, and feedback loops to R&D.
  • Freelancer management: brief, review, and coordinate external designers/social media specialist to hit quality, budget, and timelines.

Minimum qualifications

  • Computer Engineering degree preferred (or related). Not required if you have equivalent experience and a strong portfolio (GitHub/projects/writing).
  • 3+ years across web development and/or technical marketing in B2B.
  • Working knowledge of PHP, JS, HTML/CSS, MySQL, and basic Git.
  • Solid grasp of SEO on-page, performance (Core Web Vitals/INP), and basic security (CSP, HSTS, headers, OWASP awareness).
  • Good written and spoken English; clear technical writing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, ownership, and prioritization.

Nice to have

  • Experience in security/surveillance/IoT or electronics.
  • Tools: GA4/Looker Studio, Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Jira/Trello, Figma.
  • Image optimization, CDN, caching, and accessibility best practices.
  • Additional languages (e.g., Italian/Spanish/French/German).
