Overview

APAC-MEA Media Procurement & Governance Manager role at Ferrero. Based in Luxembourg and reporting to the Head of Media Procurement & Governance. Ferrero is a family-owned company with iconic brands and a diverse, global presence.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a geographical reference and interface for the activities of Media Procurement & Governance.
  • Support the implementation of the Group’s Media Procurement & Governance strategy, processes and policies across all countries in the area, working with Area and Regional Media Managers.
  • Contribute to the media agency selection process and manage both global and local agency relationships within the geographical scope.
  • Design and execute the media buying strategy within the area, align with Group guidelines, help define investment thresholds, and select the appropriate media mix in collaboration with Area and Region Media Managers.
  • Support local implementation of group-led projects, coordinate media agency selection and pitch processes, and manage agency transitions. Ensure onboarding reflects Ferrero’s governance standards and handle procurement exceptions with governance alignment.
  • Apply group-level media procurement standards and governance processes. Monitor budget allocations across countries, support media plan approvals, and follow up on governance model implementation. Support reporting and planning processes, translate area guidelines into local actions, and cascade investment strategies with Area Media Managers.
  • Review the application of the Principal Model and collaborate with relevant functions to ensure proper documentation and alignment.
  • Coordinate media agency performance evaluations across countries, harmonize feedback, and follow up on corrective actions or incentive payments. Support financial audits with inputs and ensure contract compliance across markets, coordinating modifications with the Group Media Compliance Manager.
  • Act as a counterpart to the GRC Manager during audits; track outcomes and support remediation. Manage vendor assessments, oversee supplier invoicing and payments, and handle Joint Purchase Agreements with Related Companies, ensuring operational and budgetary alignment, agency onboarding, and contract harmonization.
  • Apply academic background in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field to understand procurement processes and contractual agreements as part of the role.
  • Bring 8 to 10 years of experience in the media industry, gained in media agencies, advertisers, media vendors, or consultancies. Demonstrate clear communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration across functions and with external partners.
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to assess business priorities from strategic and operational perspectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) with fluency in English.

Qualifications

  • Academic background in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in the media industry.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; fluent in English.
