Overview

Business Unit Manager – Sales Focus

Location: Milan, Italy

Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead and expand our operations in Italy, with a strong focus on sales growth and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial strategy and drive revenue growth across key business segments.
  • Manage and develop the sales team, setting clear KPIs and performance goals.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with global standards and local market needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead go-to-market initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, marketing, HR) to ensure operational excellence.
  • Report directly to the regional leadership team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Manager, Country Manager, or Sales Director in a B2B environment.
  • Strong track record in sales leadership, business development, and team management.
  • Excellent understanding of the Italian market and customer dynamics.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills.
  • Experience in managing P&L and driving profitability.
