Job Description:

Our transport consulting practice is expanding working on international airport projects. We are looking for an experienced NAVAIDS specialist.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and integration of NAVAIDS systems (ILS, VOR, DME, NDB, etc.) for new and existing airports, ensuring compliance with national and international aviation standards (ICAO, FAA, EASA).
• Able to provide NAVAIDS location within the airfield (critical and sensitive areas)
• Utilize RF propagation modeling tools to predict signal coverage and performance, ensuring NAVAIDS systems meet operational requirements and performance criteria.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, air traffic controllers, and airport authorities to integrate NAVAIDS design into overall airport infrastructure planning.
• Able to review NAVAIDS system specifications and designs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
• Able to determine the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) system requirements and integration with other airfield elements.
• Able to prepare high level functional plans for the ATCT cab.
• Develop design documentation, including system specifications, schematics, and project reports.
• Contributed to the design of airport approach lighting systems, runway safety areas, and other related infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that designs support operational efficiency and regulatory compliance, addressing any identified risks or challenges

Experience & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in navigational aids.
• Electrical or Aeronautical Engineering degree.
