The Sales & Marketing division of Randstad Professional, specialized in the recruitment of Middle and Senior Management profiles, is looking for a candidate on behalf of a leading company in the food sector.

Export Director – Europe

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and seek out new clients in the Foodservice, Normal Trade, and Modern Trade (GDO) channels;
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and manage existing clients within the sector;
• Monitor market trends and provide analysis to support strategic decision-making;
• Handle negotiations with key clients in the Food Service, Normal Trade, and Modern Trade sectors, including commercial agreements, pricing, and promotional activities;
• Analyze client needs and requests and ensure the sale of the company’s various product categories;
• Ensure the achievement of revenue and profit margin targets;
• Prepare periodic reports on activities and results achieved;
• Managing a team of junior sales and back office;
• Collaborate with production, marketing, and R&D teams to ensure operational excellence, and with the export and customer service teams for post-sales support.

Candidate Profile:

• At least 8 years of experience in a similar role is required;
• Previous experience in the food sector, specifically in cured meats and cold cuts, is mandatory;
• Strong knowledge of sales dynamics in the importer and specialized distributor sector, particularly in the HoReCa or GDO channels, is essential;
• Excellent command of the English language is required;
• Solid understanding of international markets and commercial operations;
• Willingness to travel internationally;
