The Bellevue in Cogne, Valle d'Aosta, overlooking the Prati di Sant'Orso, is not just a hotel but a historic house embracing the culture and nature of the Alps.

Operated by the Jeantet-Roullet family since 1925, it employs over 90 staff members.

The property features 39 unique rooms furnished with antiques, a 1,200-square-meter spa, and four restaurants: Le Petit Bellevue, the Bar à Fromage, a mountain restaurant, and the Brasserie du Bon Bec. It also boasts an award-winning wine cellar, cheese cellar, a circular vegetable garden, and bakery, and is part of the Relais & Châteaux association.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Planning and coordinating daily operations, supervising accounting management.
  2. Overseeing table setup and service.
  3. Participating in room service and managing the team.
  4. Recording orders, attending to guests, and ensuring attention to detail.
  5. Supervising room preparations for various services.
  6. Replacing the Maître as needed.

Qualifications required:

  • Diploma or Degree.
  • Sommelier certification (e.g., AIS, FISAR).
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of wines at national, territorial, and international levels.
  • At least three years of experience in similar roles within gourmet restaurants, 4- or 5-star hotels, or Relais & Châteaux establishments.
  • Excellent communication, management, leadership skills, customer orientation, and team working abilities.

Contract details:

  • Fixed-term contract from immediately until 12/10/2025.
  • CCNL Tourism classification and salary based on experience.
