Vendor Management Specialist

Join ABB Robotics and shape the future of intelligent automation. As an IS Vendor Management Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our global vendor ecosystem delivers maximum value—financially, operationally, and strategically.

Responsibilities:

• Managing day‑to‑day interactions with assigned vendors, ensuring service levels and KPIs are met
• Supporting financial tracking, invoice verification, and purchase order management
• Collecting and analyzing vendor performance data to prepare dashboards and reports
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders across IS, Finance, Procurement, and Robotics
• Contributing to vendor portfolio optimization and cost‑efficiency initiatives
• Supporting vendor governance activities such as audits and reviews
• Assisting in contract amendments and negotiations
• Acting as the first escalation point for operational performance issues
• Identifying risks, driving corrective actions, and improving the vendor governance model
• Staying ahead of market trends and applying best practices to strengthen ABB’s vendor relationships globally

Background:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or sourcing
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field
• Strong understanding of contractual, financial, and commercial aspects of vendor management
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and geographies
