Receptionists At Spaces, we call our receptionists Community Associates. Our customers come to us for an inspiring work environment. As one of our receptionists, you’ll help deliver it by providing sparkling service, going the extra mile, and making sure everyone who visits us feels totally at home.

Typical day at Spaces

You arrive 15 minutes before the centre opens to make sure everything is ready to go. You order the first cappuccino of the day at the bar and walk through the business club to ensure all lights are on and the space looks tidy. As members arrive, you handle requests such as providing the WiFi code. When a guest needs training in a meeting room, you guide them and check the meeting room calendar to manage bookings. You coordinate with the catering partner to ensure coffee and refreshments are available. You handle mail delivery: check arrivals, place items in the correct mailboxes, and notify members when their mail has arrived. You may assist with online membership registrations when the Sales team is unavailable, issue badges, and coordinate badge creation for other staff as needed. At 6:00pm, you help the group in meeting room 3 to wrap up and invite them to Friday drinks or suggest nearby dining options. After the last guest leaves, you ensure everything is tidy before going home.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver sparkling, guest-focused service to Spaces visitors and members.
  • Maintain a welcoming, professional appearance and environment.
  • Assist guests with information (e.g., WiFi codes) and coordinate room bookings and catering needs.
  • Support reception operations, including mail handling and badge issuance.
  • Coordinate with teams (Sales, Community Manager) to support events and member services.
  • Wrap up the day by ensuring the space is tidy and ready for the next day.
