About the Role:

Role: Mainframe Developer

Location: Bari or Milan, Italy / Hybrid

Job Type: Permanent

Must have proficiency in English and Italian languages.

Role: Technical Specialist - Mainframe

Primary Technical Skills: Mainframe, CCIS, DB2

Domain: Banking, Finance

Secondary Technical Skills: CCV, Jira, Batch Jobs, Mobile, iOS, Java

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Work closely with product owners to understand and translate business objectives into technical requirements.
• Analyze new change requests, design solutions, and guide developers in implementation.
• Support development teams and supervise design, testing, and modification stages.
• Ensure up-to-date documentation.
• Keep track of compliance requirements and adhere to schedules.
• Be an expert in identifying root causes for incidents and bugs, and help develop permanent solutions for recurring issues.

Preferred Background:

• Experience in incident handling and problem solving within an L3 support team.
• Experience with projects involving file interfaces and protocols.
