Overview

Brindle and Green Environmental Consultants are seeking an aspiring landscape architect to join our growing team, based at our offices in Radbourne near Derby.

The role will be undertaking a mixture of landscape design, LVIA, landscape planning and landscape management work, working closely with our other departments (ecology, arboriculture, archaeology and construction).

We are on the lookout for an individual that is a self-motivated team player, but who is happy to work independently on occasions. The role would suit a graduate landscape architect with a couple of years’ experience looking for the next step or somebody currently working as a Landscape Architect who is looking to progress their career. We will tailor the role to work for the right candidate. Brindle and Green value personal and professional development and you will be joining a small supportive team at an exciting time.

Responsibilities

The role will involve a mixture of landscape design, LVIA, landscape planning and landscape management activities, in collaboration with our ecology, arboriculture, archaeology and construction teams.

Requirements

  • A Masters degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Team player who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and proactive
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail
  • Keen to learn and take responsibility for own professional growth
  • Ability to work to meet deadlines, managing time across multiple tasks and projects
  • Commitment to work safely, with due regard for health, safety and environmental issues
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with GIS or Keyscape / AutoCad software
