M&A Associate Milan

Our client, an established and globally recognised Investment Bank is seeking a highly motivated M&A Associate to join its growing investment banking team in Milan. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional at the early Associate level to gain hands‑on experience in complex, cross‑border transactions across a wide range of sectors.

You’ll be part of a collaborative and high‑performing team, working closely with senior bankers and clients on live deals from day one.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support the execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence.
• Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation.
• Conduct market and industry research to support deal origination and strategic advisory.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
• Contribute to the development of junior analysts and foster a team-oriented culture.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

• 3-4 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• Strong technical skills in financial modelling, valuation, and transaction analysis.
• Solid understanding of the Italian and broader European M&A landscape.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
