About the Company: For a multinational market leader in consumer electronics, our Recruitment Engineer are looking for a Software Engineer AS400.

Core Responsibilities

You will work in the applications domain, focusing on designing, building, testing, and maintaining scalable and stable technology solutions that integrate with our core business platforms, with main focus on AS400 and SAP Retail ERP systems. You will collaborate with multiple business departments to ensure seamless system integration and efficiency. You will contribute:

• Participate and contribute in the entire implementation process for new applications and enhancements to existing ones;


• Provide input on overall solution architecture, main focus will be on AS400 and future SAP Retail migration;


• Coordinate Suppliers to build and test applications;


• Meet with business partners to understand business needs;


• Conduct root cause analysis and implement basic performance tuning;


• Ensure solution meets business needs.

Must Have

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or related degree;


• 5-10 years of experience in software development, system integration, and ERP solutions;


• Strong expertise in AS400;


• Knowledge of the software development life-cycle;


• Experience in the usage of UML;


• 3-4 years of experience in a similar position;


• Expert in Retail system integration, Retail application delivery, technically proficient but business minded;


• Experienced in a Retail and omnichannel operations context;


• Team player, collaborative with a remarkable client first attitude;


• Concrete, rational and able to work with tight deadlines;


• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP


• Knowledge of retail market
