Visiting Associate

Exentially is a next‑generation strategy consulting firm partnering with companies and financial institutions ready to turn strategy and innovation into real impact. Founded by former top‑tier global strategy consulting professionals, we combine an entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution capabilities to deliver fast, tangible results.

People and Environment You'll Join

Generating sustained value and building durable capabilities with our clients is challenging work. We look for individuals who are energized by a high‑expectation, high‑upside culture—leaning into difficult problems, recovering when things don’t go as planned, and persisting until progress is made. In return for your ambition, resolve, and curiosity, we provide the tools, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you might expect.

How You'll Make a Difference

You will work in small teams (typically 2‑3 consultants) taking an active part in every dimension of client engagements. Throughout projects you will develop core management consulting skills and apply advanced corporate finance and value creation techniques. Your work will include sourcing and assessing information, building and pressure‑testing hypotheses, shaping and communicating recommendations, and implementing real impact. You will receive continuous training, frequent coaching, mentorship from colleagues, and a tailored learning path, while based in our Milan or Rome office working across multiple industries and advising on corporate strategy, M&A, due diligence, and performance improvement.

Requirements

  • MSc in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance with an excellent academic record
  • Previous internships in strategy, corporate finance, M&A, or due diligence at a consulting firm, investment bank, accounting firm, or major corporation
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to structure and solve problems through rigorous quantitative thinking and analysis
  • Solid proficiency in the MS Office package, especially Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within teams and foster an inclusive environment with stakeholders at all levels
  • Interest in and effectiveness in using technology and AI (plus)
  • Fluency in English and Italian (mandatory)

Benefits

  • Learning as a core discipline: an apprenticeship‑led learning culture designed to help you progress with direct, specific feedback.
  • Influence from day one: we expect you to contribute visible impact by bringing original thinking and practical solutions while upholding our standards of ethics, integrity and courage.
  • Exceptional benefits: a tier‑1 salary calibrated to your experience and skills, along with an extensive benefits package to support your well‑being and that of your family.
