Job Description:

RINA is recruiting for an Italy Railways and Mass Transit Engineering Project Manager to join its office in Genova, Roma, or Torino, Italy within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.

Mission

As a Transport Project Manager, you will coordinate and execute technical activities for national and international transport projects and oversee designers involved in delivering new transport systems worldwide.

Key Accountabilities

1. Transport Infrastructure Project Design Management: Coordinate design activities and ensure timely, budgeted, high-quality project delivery.
2. Master Planning and Feasibility Design: Support project delivery focusing on master planning feasibility and preliminary design, analyzing and comparing transport solutions to meet demand within constraints, and contributing to innovative transportation solutions.
3. Technical Execution Supervision: Oversee technical tasks for private clients and public administrations, including demand analysis, traffic impact assessments, and flow optimization.
4. Report Preparation: Prepare detailed technical reports in English and Italian, ensuring quality and insightfulness.
5. Simulation and Modeling: Supervise transport simulations using software like Transcad and PTV Vissim, analyzing results to guide project improvements.
6. Reporting and Communication: Collaborate with specialists and designers to develop presentations and reports, providing strategic input for project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in transport project management and feasibility/preliminary design
• Strong analytical skills and research capability on emerging transport solutions
• Excellent communication skills in English and Italian
• Teamwork ability
• Availability to travel

Education

Master’s Degree in Transport Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
