Head of Operations

Overview

Capwatt promotes, owns and operates integrated energy optimization solutions, contributing to a sustainable energy paradigm. To join our team in Brescia, Italy, we are recruiting for the position Head of Operations.

Mission: Implementing the measures necessary to achieve the objectives agreed for the budget and strategic plan in the geographical area under management, fostering a culture of proximity to clients in harmony with the commercial teams and full compliance with all legal obligations and internal guidelines, respecting the established quality, safety and environmental standards, in order to guarantee the on-time and on-budget execution of all projects and services in the construction phase and the maximization of the efficiency of all assets in the operating phase and services under management, ensuring the optimization of resources and the promotion of synergies in the various teams that allow the creation of value for the shareholder to be maximized.

Responsibilities

• Proposing and collaborating in the definition and implementation of the strategy, global objectives and budget of the regional Construction, Operations, Maintenance, QSE and technical specialists with regard to the various technologies and regions within Italy, thus contributing to the overall alignment of the organization's strategy and guidelines.
• Ensuring the delivery of the defined objectives, controlling success indicators, forecasting, P&L analyses and defining corrective measures, reporting monthly to guarantee compliance with the strategy and objectives.
• Coordinating and controlling projects and/or services, ensuring that all areas allocate and optimize resources for the execution of the project/service, in order to guarantee compliance with the defined requirements and objectives, promoting high levels of profitability, efficiency and customer satisfaction, whether internal or external
• Controlling the cost management and invoicing of ongoing projects and/or services, by analysing deviations and implementing preventive measures, in order to guarantee on time and on budget delivery.
• Participating in and promoting actions across the business, together with their peers, identifying and implementing specific improvement actions in terms of processes and systems, which make it possible to achieve synergies and efficiencies that contribute to meeting strategic objectives
• Be the Guardian of Quality, Safety and Environmental standards, being responsible to carry out its activities in accordance with the required requirements and in compliance with the defined politics and procedures.
• Coordinate the people under their responsibility and supervise the implementation of People&Culture policies in order to ensure the motivation, well-being and development of their employees, thus maximizing the human capital of their teams and the productivity associated with the various business areas.
• Supporting M&A actions in close coordination with the other teams, bringing value with knowledge of technologies and the construction and operation of assets, in order to accurately value opportunities for acquisitions or asset rotation, duly aligned with Capwatt's objectives
• Fostering a working culture within the teams focused on: 1) Generating value, promoting rapid decision-making based on profitability; 2) Maximum customer satisfaction, contributing to the creation of new opportunities; and 3) Continuous improvement, creating the necessary agility for constant adaptation to the market and also symbiotic links with other areas of the company
• Being a member of the management team with responsibility for operations and maintenance, construction, quality, safety and the environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering
• Knowledge of biogas/biomethane sector is mandatory
• Project Management, Business Management
• 10+ years' experience in a similar role
• Fluency in Italian and English
• MS Office
