Senior Software Engineer

Job Description: Senior Back-end Engineer at XTEL

We are a professional team of recruiting specialists searching for talents in Ukraine, Europe, and the USA. Currently, we are looking for a Senior Back-end Engineer for XTEL. The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for product design and implementation, supporting field sales management and trade optimization processes, and managing complex planning and execution activities. You will play a key role in transforming the solution to SaaS, focusing on refactoring and service transformation.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead development and refactoring of advanced product capabilities, analyzing information and providing technical recommendations.
2. Support design reviews to ensure solutions align with architecture, security, scalability, and maintainability standards.
3. Gather requirements, design and implement product capabilities, and oversee deployment and monitoring in production.
4. Estimate development efforts for new features and enhancements within Scrum teams.
5. Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and community.
6. Develop and maintain high-quality, secure, and efficient software.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on a SaaS solution based on Microsoft technologies and Azure.
8. Assist in architecting solutions for sales management and trade optimization activities.

Qualifications:

1. Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
2. Experience in legacy code refactoring.
3. Proficiency in C# programming.
4. Practical experience applying SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
5. Experience with writing Unit and Integration Tests.
6. Fluent English communication skills.
7. Understanding of full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, testing, and operations.
8. Experience with distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.
9. Experience working in microservice-oriented architectures.
10. Knowledge of database query performance tuning and troubleshooting.
11. Experience in Consumer Goods/Retail sector and related processes is a plus.
