Operational & ICT Risk Specialist

CDP RETI S.p.A (Gruppo Cassa Depositi e Prestiti) is seeking an Operational & ICT Risk Specialist to join its Risk Management team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work within the “Direzione Rischi”, specifically in the “Risk Management” area, and will carry out the following key activities:

• Process assessment of operational risks to identify and evaluate potential risks in business processes and related controls.
• Collection and secure storage of operational risk data.
• Scenario analysis to prospectively evaluate operational risks and potential losses arising from them.
• Development and maintenance of methodologies and tools to identify and assess operational, ICT and fraud risks, in line with applicable best practices.
• Support process owners in defining appropriate mitigation actions.
• Support the preparation of periodic reporting on operational, ICT and fraud risks.
• Assist the team in additional activities within the overall operational, ICT and fraud risk management system.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a degree in a scientific or quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, statistics, industrial engineering or related paths) and possesses 3‑5 years of professional experience in risk management and/or internal control, preferably in financial, insurance or consulting environments.

Preference will be given to candidates who:

• Have knowledge of operational risk management and/or modeling methodologies or related risk types.
• Have prior experience in project planning and management.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency with the Office suite and the English language; knowledge of at least one programming language is desirable.
• Show strong interest in risk evaluation, modeling and management, especially operational risks, and possess excellent relational, problem‑solving and precision skills.
