Your Role
As a Data Engineer, you will ensure the quality and performance of data pipelines, build datasets and applications to support business functions, and maintain data reliability and quality.
Your Responsibilities
- Combine raw data from various sources.
- Develop data sets and pipelines.
- Analyze requirements for new software and applications.
- Migrate data from legacy systems.
- Design data models and flowcharts.
- Improve system performance through testing and troubleshooting.
- Optimize database systems.
Candidate Profile
Ideally, you are passionate about fitness and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should be resourceful, responsive, and ethically grounded.
Qualifications
- MSc or Ph.D. in Engineering or related field.
- Experience in data architecture design and maintenance.
- 3-5 years in building and managing data platforms.
- Knowledge of ETL, ELT, and Data Pipeline tools.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery).
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Knowledge of Oracle DB and reporting tools like Power BI is a plus.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Understanding of cyber security topics.
