Overview
Within the Facilities and Utilities management team, the Facility Engineer participates in waste disposal managing activities and collaborates for managing preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The engineer ensures that equipment is inventory‑controlled and maintains building life for necessary maintenance and repair operations. They serve as contact for service providers in charge of certain maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage waste disposal activities within the Facilities and Utilities management team.
- Collaborate on preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring equipment inventory and necessary maintenance and repair operations for building life.
- Act as contact person for service providers responsible for maintenance operations.
Technical profile
Technical profile to manage energy use efficiently, improve energy efficiency level, and reduce primary energy consumption and emissions of climate‑altering gases.
Qualifications
- Environmental Engineering Degree.
- Knowledge and skills in energy management: supply, diagnosis, savings and efficiency.
- Ability to evaluate economic convenience of interventions: technical‑economic evaluation, ROI, NPV, etc.
- Experience in monitoring company projects regarding energy efficiency and reduction of greenhouse gases at national level.
Languages
- Mother tongue Italian.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Soft Skills
- Good interpersonal, organizational and planning skills.
- Strong problem solving and teamwork abilities.
