As a CRO Manufacturing Repair Engineer your work is closely tied to the manufacturing process. Your role directly impacts the quality of your own work as well as the work of others on your team. You execute standard operational and technical tasks that are typically guided by instructions and established work routines.

Job Description

Essential tasks

Support the business and the organization in building solid integrated processes

Collaborate cooperate & support to define the approach to meet the technical and processes requirements with reference to peculiarities and procedures inherent the processes & repair business

Utilize lean-manufacturing principles and participate in action workouts to improve & optimize processes reduce overall costs and increase capacity

Participate to action plans to anticipate and respond to engineering problems related to Component Repair activities and Repair Capabilities

Participate in EHS related actions to improve safety in own area

Prepare proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Router with high quality standards

Technical instruction (work instructions technical sketches)

Cooperate with Quality organization in the integration of process requirements and procedures establishment

Participate to special projects driven by Engineering or Project Management work requests which may cover technical advances in producibility / capability studies

Effectively participate to workout & initiatives finalized to define new concepts that can aid in the assignment of both equipment hardware and software as related to computer build technology advanced process capability and material handling concepts

Communicate & cooperate with Design Quality Production Engineering and Project Management on technical state of each assigned activities on a periodic basis

Qualifications / Requirements

Masters or Bachelor Engineering Degree

Significant experience in the Aviation Engines Industry (CRO)

Solid experience in Component Repair activities or equivalent

Previous experience on civil / military / industrial engines

Knowledge of AE2100 T700 & EJ200 Engines main components and repair technical documentation

Knowledge of Civil Engines main components and repair technical documentation

Knowledge of technical drawing and machining processes

Solid experience with Aviation Engine technical documentation with reference to Engine manual repair notes standard practices not conformities management

Fluency in English and Italian both written and oral

Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required

Basic knowledge in Aviation Legislation
